After ripping a single during the first inning Marshall McDougall scored six home runs in the next six bats on the same day. Marshall McDougall is a former baseball player who has spent most of his time as a third baseman. He played one season with the Texas Rangers, and one season in the Chinese Professional League with the 7-Eleven Lions.
Marshall played baseball for Florida State University where he was coached by Mike Martin. In 1999 he was part of the first-team consensus All-American. That same year, he was named the Most Outstanding Player at the College World Series and was a finalist for the Dick Howser Trophy and the Golden Spikes Award. In addition to 6 home runs, he shattered NCAA single-game records and achieved 16 RBI and a total of 25 bases.
After 1999, he played student baseball with the Harwich Mariners.
