Alex Mack finally made the big decision
After 13 seasons Alex Mack decided it was time to say goodbye to professional career. This Niners center is retiring from the NFL after a long career during which it has become one of the leading centers in the last decade.
Alex Mack can be happy with what he has achieved during his rich career, which is a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and seven Pro Bowl selections. Alex played last season with the San Francisco 49ers after which he received a Pro Bowl nod.
A career in the Bay Area resulted in seven seasons to eventually start a career in the Cleveland Browns and five with the Atlanta Falcons. The decision to continue playing for this player has been in question for some time and caused the most uncertainty to his current club.
Alex's departure from the San Francisco 49ers would mean big changes, in other words, Deebo Samuel who is expecting an exchange, and San Francisco who wants to trade Jimmy Garoppolo. The San Francisco club will now try to replace the Pro Bowl talent who also boasts experience and rich veteran leadership.
Once the decision to leave this veteran has become official, the club must find replacements. JC Tretter as a former Browns center was mentioned as one of the possibilities especially since he left Cleveland.
