Solomona rewarded with a comeback
Alex Sanderson decided to return to the Premiership rugby by the England's winger Denny Solomona. It was one of his proudest achievements so far in the eigth months in charge, as a director of Sale rugby.
In January, the former Saracens assistant inherited the squad which was left behind by Steve Diamond. However, the 28-year-old Auckland player made only one appearance since coming off the bench in London Irish.
Solomona spoken in the past about his mental health issues and he was introduced as a 52nd minute replacement for Simon Hammersley in the Brentford. His first run in the leafe since February will start at the Harlequins.
There were some speculations what he was on his way to another club, however, the five-cap England back has come through very energetic preseason just to be a part of the Sanderson's plan.
Last week, Solomona missed out on the selection for the opening round victory over Bath. He posted on social media, saying how he trusts the process and he was rewarded with a comeback appearance.
