Ortiz accuses Silva of illegal punch
Tito Ortiz believes that a punch that knocked him out in a match with Anderson Silva was actually – illegal. At the moment, Tito has problems with a sore head and he explains that his reason why is exactly in that punch.
Unfortunately, Ortiz was on the wrong side of the one-sided fight which caused him to become an Internet meme. He started with a lot of aggression and hoped to catch Anderson with a powerful shot early in the fight. Silva managed to use his evasion to dodge virtually with every strike Ortiz threw.
Ortiz tried hard and threw his combination of 4 right hooks in a row. However, Silva escaped them all and managed to overtake his opponent with a strong strike. The MMA fans started mocking Ortiz for the embarrassing knockout right away.
The short video of knockout spread across the Internet like a wildfire. However, Ortiz recently came out with an accusation that Silva threw an illegal punch at him.
He took it to social media and told his fans about the right hand that knocked him out. His tweet was shortly after deleted.
He told 'nice right hand but I didn't know that punching behind the head was legal'. Ortiz also added that the back of his head was sore because of that punch.
