Memphis fired Marc Gasol after five days

Marc Gasol the 36-years-old Spanish basketball player is on the safe path back home. Memphis has officially announced that they fired Gasol. He was in the club for five days only. Namely, earlier the LA Lakers sent Gasol with the choice of the second round of the draft and 250,000 $ to Memphis.

The American media immediately emphasized that neither Memphis nor Gasol are for the renewal of cooperation because, let us remind you, the Spanish center spent a large part of its NBA career in that club. However, he played in this club from 2008 to 2019.

Now Memphis has officially fired Gasol, who is ready to start this season at some Spanish club. Although it has been speculated that he could also end his basketball career. But right now, it’s more likely at this point that he will wear the Barcelona or Girona jersey again. Marc Gasol has won one NBA ring in his career in the time when he played for Toronto. And during the thirteen seasons in the league ha has achieved respectable statistics. During all this time she scored more than 10,000 points, 6,000 rebounds, and 2,900 assists.
