One of Europe’s greatest basketball players announced the end of a miraculous career

Yeah, that is right, one of the greatest and most trophy-winning European basketball players of all time, Pau Gasol announced the end of his career. He decided to announce the end of this incredible career at the scheduled press conference.

The 41-year-old Spanish player returned to Barcelona in the last season. He had one big desire to play at the Olympics Games in Tokyo. This would be the crown for the end of his career. But in the Euroleague, Barcelona was defeated in the final match, and in Tokyo Spanish national team was defeated in the quarterfinals.

Gasol took almost everything he could in basketball. But the Olympics Games gold is something that he didn’t win, even if he has three medals from the Olympics Games. He was a world champion, and also three times the European champion. Also, with the Lakers, he got two NBA champion rings. During the whole of this career, he played in six All-Stars matches, two times he was MVP of the world and two times in the European Championship. All in all, we can say that this was one incredible career for one basketball player. Everyone who has a chance to enjoy his performance can be happy.
